Built by the State Railways between 1984 and 1994, the two Garibaldi Towers have been the subject of a sophisticated process of redevelopment.

The two buildings, of 23 floors each, have been transformed into the first Italian “green towers”, designed according to eco-sustainable criteria. A careful restyling has allowed the construction of zero-emission buildings, thanks to solar and photovoltaic panels, natural ventilation, interactive facades, bioclimatic greenhouses on each floor.

The main facades are “faceted” with four different angles of inclination and shine in the sunlight like diamonds, even though they are advanced technical mechanisms made up of cells with interactive ventilation for a high control of internal climate comfort.
